What is your relationship to H&P Mobile Geochemistry?
Mobile One was a founder of H&P and previously owned 50% of that company. H&P is now 100% owned by Ms. Louise Adams, H&Ps current President and former President/Operations Manager. Because Mobile One is no longer in the mobile laboratory business in Southern California, Mobile One is changing the name of the company to reflect our new mission. Air One (Mobile One) and its founders are under contract to Ms. Adams and H&P to provide technical support and consultation on an as needed basis and we heartily recommend continued use of H&P for all field sampling and analysis services.
Do you perform the same tests as H&P, aren't you competing?
Air One is specializing in analytical tests and procedures that are NOT performed by H&P, such as indoor/ambient air and low level soil gas. We intend to complement what H&P offers.
You are still called "Mobile One". Are you operating mobile labs?
Mobile One is currently still our corporate name and we are known locally by that name. We are not operating mobile labs in Southern California. We would always be interested in discussing projects in other areas of the country. We are gradually migrating the name to "Air One Labs" to more precisely reflect what we are doing.
